Become a Home Health Aide in San Diego!
Have you ever wanted to help people stay independent long into the later years of their lives? Home care is increasing in popularity because it is among the most comfortable ways for elderly and disabled patients to remain in the comfort of their homes, while still being able to perform basic needs with the help of an experienced health aide. It’s among one of the most rewarding experiences to help those in need stay independent by offering support with basic daily needs, medication management, and health monitoring.
The Home Health Aide training program was developed following California Department of Public Health (CDPH) guidelines for the education of nurse assistants to become certified home health aides. This certification allows the home health aide to function as an entry-level worker on a health care team in a home health agency.
The curriculum is structured to provide theory and practical application of knowledge and skill needed to function as a home health aide. This curriculum meets federal and State training regulations.
The Home Health Aide training program encompasses only 40 hours, meaning that you can begin helping people in a short matter of time!
